While I personally only suffer from anxiety, I have witnessed the tragic effects of mental health problems left unchecked. Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act and often determines how we handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions. It is SUCH an important component to our overall health and yet, we spend so little time focused on it.
