Back on top of my blogging game, lets play a little bit of catch up!

Stationery Store Day was a huge success! I had one of my best in person sales days (since my grand opening) and was so overwhelmed by the love and community that showed up and showed out for this celebration. I’m already thinking of ways I can level up for next year!

Looking ahead, I’ve got Chicago Planner Conference on the horizon and this was SUCH a fantastic show for me last year. I was so blown away by the way Team CPC is organized and how well they prepared us all for every part of their event. From the pre-show guidebooks to the relaxed approach for picking your table spot, it is one of the least stressful things I participate in annually!

This week I ranked which tables I’d prefer to sit at (you know I put all the fountain pen tables at the top lol) and bought my plane tickets! I still have to convince someone to give me a ride to the airport, but that’s a problem for another day!

This past weekend I had a girls night out with my two local besties. We did a karaoke night in Boston, complete with a delicious Italian meal at Prima.

We were sat in the back lounge where the walls were draped with roses and shared a bunch of dinner items including fresh burrata and the best truffle arancini bites that I will be dreaming about for the rest of time. If you’re ever in the area, 10/10 would go back!!

I also feel like I need to share that I’m still playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure! I rarely stick with a game for this long, but man, the Sanrio kid in me is just so pleased walking around the island collecting flowers and giving gifts. It’s not going to mean anything to you but I finally became best friends with Wish Me Mell, and that’s kind of a big deal! If this were a more traditional game with levels, she’d be the big bad boss at the end.

I’m still loving my A5 Rings set up, it’s more portable than I remember it being - potentially because I use a backpack, but still. The layout I’m using is a spin on the Executive and I really need to list it in the shop so people stop asking me about it lol. Got any good name ideas? The Bess is already taken!

I’m also still loving my fountain pen collection. The last two weeks I’ve been using my extra broad Kaweco Sport, swapping between two green/grey inks, which is my current color obsession.

As I learn more about what I like and don’t like about fountain pens, I find myself buying more of the shading type inks, versus the ones with shimmer or sheen.

I especially love some of the double shade colors from Sailor! I never knew you could get such a variance of color from one pen and ink!

I've got space for one more on my shelf!
